The curtain rises on ChorusLife with one of the most beloved, intense, and ruthless works in the entire history of opera: Giuseppe Verdi’s “Rigoletto.” The first installment of the famous popular trilogy, this absolute masterpiece of Italian opera blends constant dramatic tension with unprecedented melodic richness, capable of stirring the souls of the audience from the very first notes.

At the heart of the story, set in 16th-century Mantua, lies the tragic fate of the court jester Rigoletto, torn between the cynical opulence of the ducal palace and his visceral, protective love for his daughter Gilda. Amid overwhelming passions, betrayals, deceptions, and the terrifying shadow of a curse, the opera unfolds through a gallery of unforgettable characters and legendary arias that have become part of myth, such as “Caro nome,” “Cortigiani, vil razza dannata,” and the world-famous “La donna è mobile.” An evening of magnificent theater and pure operatic emotion.
