The Baresi Mill is an ancient mill that operated for centuries, until 1996. During the visit you will discover the ancient art of the miller, thanks to the millstone for grains still functioning today, driven by the force of water. This place then also holds other equipment, including a millstone for walnuts, a press once used for the creation of walnut oil, an oven, a brazier, and a room used as a cheese factory. Through the tour it will be possible to learn about the history of the place, the building and its surroundings.

The setting in which it is set is truly spectacular, a place where you can breathe in peace and tranquility and step into what life was like in the old days.

Today the mill is owned by FAI, the Fund for the Italian Environment, which purchased the mill from the Gervasoni family at the beginning of the new millennium through a donation after it was voted a “place of the heart.”

It is managed by the Maurizio Gervasoni Association, with which we have the pleasure of collaborating.
