Birrificio Lemine is a craft brewery located in Almenno San Salvatore, just 9 km from the center of Bergamo and within walking distance of the renowned Romanesque area of Almenno.
The Brewery was opened in 2014 by Luca Fumagalli and currently produces 6 beer labels, as well as 2 seasonal ones. “Santomè,” named after the Romanesque Church, is a Belgian-style blonde beer, “Larezia” is an amber ale with notes of caramel and cookie while “L’agher” is a German-style pale ale.
The flagship of the Production, however, is “Simaer”: a stout characterized by high fermentation and perfect barley malt roasting that won third place at the famous Italian competition “Solo Birre 2018” held on Lake Garda.
“No Racole APA” is a fruity and hopped American pale ale while “No Racole IPA” is a full-bodied ‘India pale ale.’
For the holidays, Lemine Brewery adds “Santomè Noel,” a beer made with honey, to its shelves and, during the fall, “Cornabusa,” brewed with chestnuts from the Imagna Valley.
Artisan Brewing is conducted according to the traditional method, using only selected raw materials such as water from the surrounding valleys, quality malt, hops and yeast, without additives, preservatives and without the pasteurization and filtering system.
There is also a taproom on the premises of Lemine Brewery that is open for tastings and dinner every Thursday evening.
Finally, guided tours in Italian to the Brewery with tasting and for groups of up to 25 people are offered.
