Located in San Paolo d’Argon, at the foot of the hill of the same name, 10 km from Bergamo, the estate with its small church is surrounded by two and a half hectares of vineyards. Land and church were once owned by the monastery of San Paolo d’Argon and, together, constitute the starting nucleus to which was later added the property located in Cenate Sotto with an additional three hectares of vineyards. The black grapes grown are Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Franconia and Moscato di Scanzo while the white grapes are Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and Moscato giallo. Recently, Rebo and Petit Verdot have also been planted. Aware that the quality of a wine draws its origins “in the field,” the agronomic management of the vineyards has been based on criteria tending to limit production per hectare in order to obtain a production with the best possible characteristics. Adequate spaces are also available for visitor reception and guided tastings.
