La Sella Farm was established in 2015, after three years of practice to specialize in saffron production. The saffron plant adapts well to the mountain environment, especially to sunny slopes, and is often used to restore marginal, abandoned or destined for abandonment land. The spice is also known for its properties: in fact, it constitutes a formidable natural antioxidant, rich in vitamins B1 and B2, which contribute to fat metabolization and also make it an excellent digestive aid. Currently, the company produces only saffron, but will soon start production of truffles: hooked, summer and prized.
