The exhibition presents a lesser-known side of the production of Evaristo Baschenis, a famous painter from the family of artists originally from the Averara Valley. While the author is known for his musical still lifes characterized by instruments and sheet music, this exhibition focuses on works devoted to domestic objects, such as cauldrons, copper cookware and scenes of everyday life.

The context and project

The initiative is part of the project “Voices of Mountain, Essays of City,” funded through the Bergamo and Brescia Together for Culture grant and promoted by the Bergamo Community Foundation.

The exhibition can be visited on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
