Bergamo wins its first medal as the best province for quality of life.
This is according to Il Sole 24 Ore, Italy’s leading economic-financial newspaper that analyzes and comments on developments in the Italian and international economies.
Bergamo ranks first in the ranking that monitors the well-being of Italian territories.
There are 90 indicators evaluated, in different thematic areas: ranging from consumption to labor, from environment to safety, from education to health, from justice to culture and leisure.
The face of Bergamo is evolving and softening, not only industry and manufacturing but also culture, tourism, sports, health and safety. A vibrant area, increasingly focused on sustainability, innovative and open to change with one of Italy’s first airports and a university hub in step with the times.
