The Parco dell’Oglio Nord is a river park in the Lombardy region that runs along the course of the Oglio River, covering an area of <\/span>14,170 hectares.<\/span><\/p>\n Within the territory of the park there are a number of nature reserves of great natural and environmental interest and value.<\/span><\/p>\n This is a purely agricultural area, and along the course of the river are steep and wooded banks: the inhabitants of the forest are large trees such as maple, chestnut, poplar, willow, and locust, and on them the climbing ivy. Along the shore, dirt roads where you can walk, bike, or horseback ride.<\/span><\/p>\n A large necropolis from the Gallic period (2nd-1st century B.C.) was recently discovered between Cividino and Pontoglio, and there are many important historical architectural sites present.
